This artwork, like most others of mine, is an exploration into my identity. As I draw, I try to silence the ‘surface’ level of my brain’s activity, and so, i feel as if small pieces of myself slowly resurface as I create. By the end of my process, I have an artwork that feels more true to my identity than I myself could ever hope to be.
