“This artwork was one of my favorites to create. I captured the process on my TikTok, and while doing so, I found it fascinating how the inherent value of a simple piece of paper could grow exponentially as I etched more and more detail onto it. This piece, at least for me, seems to capture a certain Jungian collective unconscious-y style, which I very much enjoyed leaning into.”

"This artwork, like many others of mine, was inspired by the natural beauty of Arizona, in particular, the endless glowing sunsets, the unforgiving exposed bedrock, and the ancient pine forests in the north of the state. When I find myself surrounded by nature, I feel as vulnerable as I do secure; and like many would say as does their God, the beauty of what was here before us seems to alwasy be extending a hand. I believe all people should make an effort to grab hold."

“This drawing aims to express the frustration that comes with feelings of isolation. I drew this while sitting in my backyard in the dead of winter, watching the sun set behind some mountains. It’s all to easy to shut yourself off from those around you, especially while you’re growing up, and it seems like nobody could ever understand the way you feel”

"Like an alcohol, the sweet distillate absorbs quickly into my flesh. Then, as if it was nothing but a great mirror, two tufts of white cloud collide silently at the horizon. Upon it and against the upside-down images of their own skinny legs marches a row of distant pink flamingoes, bobbing their heads at random, and shaking the salty water from their beaks."

“This artwork was inspired by my struggle with Autism Spectrum Disorder. For my entire life, there's been a constant pressure in my brain, wrought by a single, unanswerable question: is there a reason these ‘arbitraties’ around me take the shape they do, or are they just that, arbitrary?”

“This artwork, like most others of mine, is an exploration into my identity. As I draw, I try to silence the ‘surface’ level of my brain’s activity, and so, i feel as if small pieces of myself slowly resurface as I create. By the end of my process, I have an artwork that feels more true to my identity than I myself could ever hope to be.”

“This artwork was inspired by my love for the natural world. More specifically, I love the relativity of it. I find it fascinating how a vastly complex system can seem to perfectly fill a niche within an even larger, infinitely more complex system. A human body, for example, is a marvel in and of itself, but the product of a system of a billion humans, like a war or a story, or the skyline of a city, something like that can become exponentially more beautiful”
